With over 40 years of commercial travel experience, Terry Trippler is considered one of America’s foremost authorities on airlines and the rules that govern their operation. Terry began his career in 1968 as a ticket agent and held several positions from which he perfected his trade.
Today, he specializes in airline rules, regulations and fares, earning wide respect throughout the industry and beyond for his experienced view of the air transportation industry and its effect on the U.S. and world economy.
Having worked in a regulated airline industry for the first 10 years of his career, Terry knows first hand the advantages of an airline industry free from government interference. Terry believes it is important for the public to understand how critical the airline industry is to sustaining economic growth for everyone. Terry’s widely regarded domestic and international airline expertise has resulted in his being quoted in major leading publications throughout the world, as well as extensive broadcast exposure on international, national and various local media outlets. Terry has also consulted with the Bush White House as to the state of the airline industry. He has acted as factual witness for various cases regarding airline ticketing procedures, and for various law enforcement and private law firms throughout the country. Terry not only knows airline ticketing rules but also how, why and when such rules were written as they were.
